The city’s Habitat Department -Secretaría Distrital del Hábitat leads the implementation of the Informal Settlements Upgrading Program. Working in the Informal Neighborhoods Division, one of its components is formulating the upcoming improvement interventions in Bogota’s Southern rural areas, as well as monitoring the ten prioritized interventions in the city’s most deficitary peripheries.
