Within the framework of the urban Special Protection Plan -in spanish, Plan Especial de Manejo y Protección (PEMP) for Teusaquillo, the study area is composed of six historically relevant neighborhoods in midtown Bogota: Palermo, Santa Teresita, La Magdalena, Teusaquillo, Armenia and La Soledad. The city’s cultural heritage institute (IDPC) included the housing component as a part of the sector’s comprehensive physical-spatial assessment (In progress).
